Alas, the idea of serving chicken fingers as the only entr e emerged! The implementation of this unique concept made Guthrie's The Original Chicken Finger SpecialistTwo years later Hal and Chris opened Guthrie's of Athens, the second restaurant specializing in chicken fingers. The Guthrie family, Hal, Melissa, Chris, Hud, Joe Kelly and Anna Margaret opened many other stores across the South.Guthrie's began franchising in 2005. As of this writing there are over 27 Guthrie's in operation. Many more franchise's have been sold and will be opening soon.
