The desire to own a restaurant all began in 1968 when Billy sold food around Fort McClellan in a bus called “The Old Gray Mare”.Cafe on Main is located in the heart of the downtown area of Trussville, Alabama. Our second cafe is located on Hwy 75 as you enter Oneonta, Alabama.“Opening Day” – Saturday, August 12, 2000. We served breakfast at 6:00 a.m., and lunch at 11:00. Didn’t have a clue about the restaurant business. By Wednesday, we were so exhausted that breakfast was out of the question.With the help of family and friends, we survived! We have been blessed in many ways, and are thankful for our accomplishments and success.
