Stop at Hubbell Trading Post (a National Historic Site) on the Navajo Reservation north of town or visit incredible Canyon de Chelly, with prehistoric dwellings carved into the steep canyon walls. At the campground, shop for horsehair pottery and other Indian crafts and let a stunning sunset round out the day.
