Arizona National Golf Club, formerly known as The Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs, is a desert golf course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the golf course meanders among the foothills of Tucson, Ariz., and Arizona s Santa Catalina Mountains as it follows the rugged natural flow of the land across shady mesquite-lined arroyos. From atop the tee boxes on many holes, golfers can see panoramic views that stretch across Tucson and all the way to Mexico. Arizona National Golf Club s diverse 6,500-plus-yard course layout may present interesting challenges for seasoned golfers. Arizona National Golf Club has formed an alliance with the University of Arizona to become the home course of the Wildcat Men s and Women s collegiate golf teams.
