In 2005, Chef Funakoshiya moved to Tucson, Arizona with his family joining a well-known Northwest-side sushi restaurant, Sushi on Oracle. Chef attracted a large following in his four years at Sushi on Oracle where he became known not only for his skills as sushi chef, but for his sushi embracing both the traditional Japanese style and Asian fusion creations.Bushi Traditional Japanese and Asian Cuisine is very pleased to have Chef Funakoshiya join the restaurant in January 2011 as Executive Chef.
