Founded in 2003 and located in the Marketplace,  Farmstead Cheeses and Wines offers accessibility and an educational philosophy. The store carries 150 different kinds of artisan cheeses and 500 fine wines, categorized under "handcrafted," "organic" or "highly allocated." One can opt to participate in the store's database, which keeps track of all your purchases. Farmstead is also the home of several wine clubs, which offer benefits such as discounts,  free wine tastings and wine dinners. And every Saturday from 2:30pm to 4:30pm, there is wine tasting for all.  The cost is $3 per flight, waived if you purchase wine.
