Chelsea Pub and Lounge is located on Hermosa Avenue at the corner of 14th Street. Two blocks from the beach, it sits between Cedar Mediterranean Grill and Pedone's Pizza, up a flight of stairs. Formerly known as The Cruz Room, the spot is easy to miss, with just one small door noting the entrance. With a motto of "dine, drinks, dance," Chelsea keeps the dining part straightforward with a menu that emphasizes comfort fare like cheesesteaks, burgers, spare ribs, steaks, bruschetta, soup and salad. It has a full bar and an eclectic array of less-familiar beer options, as well as wine and cider. It shares restrooms with the Underground Club, which is next door. It hosts private parties for up to 150 people.
