New Amsterdam is a friendly little coffee shop a close walk to downtown and UC Berkeley. You call in your order and get the breakfast burrito or big salad to go or stay and use the free wi-fi and watch a whole lot of soccer highlights on the television. It also has some sandwiches along with all the tea and coffee one would expect. Seating is limited, but in the nicer months there is seating out front and in the shared porch area out back.
