This is the office and recording studio for New West Records, an independent record label distributed in the United States by Red Distribution. It has offices in Athens, GA and Austin, TX. It focuses on the style of music from these towns, such as the twang of Dwight Yoakam and the folksy blues of Rickie Lee Jones. It also works with Hollywood producers and recorded the soundtrack to the Academy Award winning film Crazy Heart, which starred Jeff Bridges. It also records all concerts from the television show Austin City Limits.
