The words on the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty say: “Give me your tired, your poor (Your Pizza Starved) your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free.”In 2001, I started Mammalucco’s because I wanted a home for “PIZZA STARVED” East-Coast transplants who moved out west to California. After years of searching and being disappointed in establishments that claimed to be New York Italian, I put my money where my mouth was and opened Mammalucco’s.
