Aida Opera Candies offers fine handcrafted chocolates and other confections from its storefront on Burlingame Avenue. It was originally founded in 1947 by Anthony "Grandpa Tony" Basques, Sr., a chocolatier and musician who named the candy store in honor of his favorite opera. Today, it is still owned and operated by members of the Basques family. Customers can purchase candy in the store or order it online.
