Preston's Candy & Ice Cream has been satisfying sweet cravings since 1943. One side of the store is devoted to the ice cream counter, where forty-eight traditional and unusual flavors of ice creams, sherbets and sorbets are offered (try the purple "Ube," a Philippine yam flavor). Preston's also sells freshly made chocolates that are molded into an array of shapes, some with cream filling. Employees behind the counter dip fresh strawberries in chocolate. Bulk candies, gummies and pops are available in assorted flavors and shapes. Special occasions can be celebrated with gift items or ice cream cakes.
