While this is a well-known coffee house chain, the Burlingame Plaza Starbucks has more of a family feel. It boasts a spacious indoor open seating area, as well as a sectioned-off outdoor plaza complete with umbrella tables. The baristas are courteous and friendly, and seem to know many customers by name and drink preference. There are two entrances, which are both easily accessible. This Starbucks location is very clean inside and out, and with WiFi access, it is the perfect place to catch up on email or write a term paper.
