Steelhead Brewing Company was founded in 1991 and opened its first brewpub in Eugene, Ore., and has locations in Burlingame and Irvine, Calif. Its pubs have a brick setting, granite-topped bars, cherry-stained tables and wingback chairs. The pubs also have outdoor beer gardens and billiards rooms. It serves a variety of beers, including a wide range of styles from light-bodied Hefeweizen, Rhino Red to crisp India pale ale, stouts and porters. Steelhead also has a premium bar that has an extensive wine list. Its menu includes pasta, wood-fired pizza, fresh salads, barbecue ribs, steaks and seafood.
