There isn't much left to desire at this park. Cerritos Park East spans over an expansive 32 acres to accommodate a vast amount of different activities for visitors. The park is adjacent to the Cerritos Olympic Swimming Pool & Fitness Center and also features three baseball fields and two basketball courts, which are equipped with lighting for evening play. Lighting is also provided for the park's four handball courts and tennis courts. Visitors can also enjoy two playgrounds, a snack bar, a jogging track, a sand area for kids, a spray pool, and several picnic shelters equipped with barbecue grills. 

The park also had a community center that features rentable rooms, a catering kitchen, a game room, an activity room and a dance room.
