Leatherby's Family Creamery has been a staple in the Sacramento area for more than two decades. There are three locations in the Sacramento area, including this Citrus Heights location.
Although Leatherby's menu includes burgers, hotdogs and salads, the chain is known for its ice cream. Leatherby's Creamery has a wide selection of ice cream flavors and specialties, such as ice cream sundaes, banana splits, rootbeer floats, malts and milkshakes. For something a little healthy, there's frozen yogurt and sherbet on the menu.
Although takeout is available, there are plenty of tables and a counter for those who wish to dine inside. The creamery's upbeat, bright atmosphere includes colorful murals outside. This is a great place for families.
