This fourth location of the Southern California chain opened in 2009 and quickly became a local favorite. Family-owned and offering traditional Oaxacan recipes, everything is made fresh and cooked without lard. The menu is extensive and offers everything from zucchini and squash tamales to filet mignon burritos. There is a light lunch menu that features swordfish tacos and mandarine salad. The restaurant space is unique, large and relaxing with dark stained hardwood and plenty of outdoor seating. Deliveries are made as far away as Santa Monica and catering service is also available.
