The "CoHo," as it is known informally around the UC Davis campus, was extensively renovated in 2010. Harsh fluorescent lighting was eliminated, replaced by subdued lighting and an earth-toned decorative theme. The central focus is still coffee, purveyed at a new circular skylit bar. Students can also enjoy fresh salads, ethnic foods, pizza and other lunch menu items that are prepared and served at a dozen stations scattered around the cafeteria floor.
