This Panda Express outpost features outdoor cafe-style seating with a bit of greenery muffling traffic sounds and, indoors, a cheery dining area with tables and service counter. Service is, as in any Panda, provided cafeteria style at a gleaming steel-and-glass buffet.
Interestingly, despite the usual popularity of orange chicken elsewhere, in Davis, string bean chicken breast wins the entree popularity contest. Ingredients are shipped in fresh daily from Stockton area farms and whipped up on giant woks in full view of the cafeteria line.
