The first thing that strikes one about this location is the authentic Chinese storefront. It is colorful in red, blue and white and looks like it belongs on a small block in native China. When you walk in the door don't be surprised if you are greeted by Grandma Wong. The family that owns Yuet Foo is very kind and hospitable. This place feels like home, or a Chinatown in El Cerrito. There is a daily menu with specials from live seafood to traditional Cantonese-style Chinese food. It is seldom crowded and there is a large dining area to the right of the entryway.
