Emilio's Trattoria has been a mainstay for Italian food in Encino for more than 20 years. Emilio retired in the early 2000's, and the new owner, Mike, has maintained much of the original atmosphere and menu. Celebrity charicatures adorn the walls and a covered patio out front offers dining with an open view and fresh air, with heaters available. The menu features many Italian favorites, including bolognese, carbonara, pesto, lasagna, ravioli and alfredo dishes with different pastas, along with the classic spaghetti with meat balls. Entrees include chicken and veal dishes, with a few seafood entrees and grilled lamb chops. Ten-inch pizzas are available with various toppings, along with a few hot sandwiches served for lunch. A service charge of 15% is added for parties of eight or more, and a $2 charge is added for any plates split in the kitchen.
