The Claddagh Irish Restaurant and Pub is located in the shopping center on the corner of First Street and Westwood Drive, next to Ace Hardware. The restaurant is large and spread out, with 24 tables and booths to choose from. In addition to having a full pub bar, the Claddagh has a full menu with salads, wraps, burgers and a kid's menu. One of the most popular items on the menu is the house special clam chowder. The venue is more spacious than a traditional Irish pub, but the friendly waitstaff creates a cozy atmosphere. The Claddagh is family-friendly for lunch and dinner, and becomes a fun late-night scene, with multiple TV screens to watch sports. An arcade and pool table is available in a separate room off to the side of the dining room. The Claddagh is known for its quality imported beers featured for Oktoberfest, and fun events such as Halloween costume contests.
