In a casual atmosphere and modern setting, Chef Douglas Keane of the two Michelin Star Cyrus, attempts to harmonize the comfort foods of Japan (izakaya and noodles) with the American equivalent (steakhouse). The goal of Shimo Modern is to provide an affordable yet unique experience where guests can be possibly introduced to new flavors but in an approachable relaxed manner. Many small and larger plates are offered and meant to be ordered in any manner. No Rules. With our do it yourself noodle bar menu, guests may choose many of our tempting add ons or leave it in our hands and choose one of our employees favorites listed on the menu.
