Dolce Gelato is located very near the Pacific Coast Highway and, even though there is not a lot of parking available, the shop gets plenty of customers who simply walk up from the hot beach and want to cool off. This shop exclusively offers gelato, which has 40% less fat than ice cream and 30% fewer calories than American creams. The gelato is made fresh at the shop and is slow-churned with less air in order to give it more taste and a silky smooth texture. There are a variety of flavors available including Coffee, Chocolate, Pistachio, Coconut, Pineapple, Strawberry, Lemon, Mango and a very tempting Fruit Of The Forest. Sugar-free, gluten-free and dairy-free flavors are also available.
