Since 1947, The Royal Hawaiian has been serving tropical food and cocktails in Laguna Beach. A recent change of ownership and refurbishing in 2006 gave this historical landmark a tiki atmosphere, as if it were new. Entertainment is featured Thursday through Sunday. Thursday's bands perform from 8pm - 11pm, Friday and Saturday's entertainment is from 9:30pm - 1am. Sunday,s the Royal Hawaiian has different acts from 3pm - 6pm. Appetizers, soup, salad, burgers and a children's menu are always available. Specials change daily and the entrees are all served with French onion soup, tossed salad and a baked potato. Filet Mignon is $24 or market price and the New York Strip steak is $30 or market price. Other entrees range from $14 to $20 and come with all the extras listed above. Close to downtown Laguna Beach and surrounded by other restaurants and shops, this restaurant is one of the highlights of Laguna Beach nightlife.
