La Unica is located in the historical district in downtown Lake Elsinore. This Mexican restaurant is also a bakery and tortilleria. A neighborhood favorite, La Unica is extremely busy around breakfast and lunch time. The breakfast menu includes chorizo and egg, huevos divorciados and carne asada. For lunch and dinner, La Unica offers combination plates such as chile verde, chimichanga and ropa vieja with rice and beans. Burritos, tacos, tostadas, tortas and gorditas are also menu staples, and the pineapple upside down cake, flan and empanadas are very popular dessert items.
