Winter Ski the back from Tamarack Ski the famous Sierra Summit Mountain Resort just five miles down the road. At an elevation of 7, 030 feet, Sierra Summit provides seven chair lifts, one T-bar, and two rope tows, and one moving carpet for beginners. Slopes range in difficulty from beginner to expert runs. Facilities include a restaurant, sport shop, cocktail lounge and two day-lodges. Ski and snowboard equipment rentals and lessons are also available. Hikers and runners who want to keep in shape will love snow shoeing through the fragrant pines. The avid cross-country skier can step right off their doorstep to ski the back from Tamarack .
