This is the original and flagship eatery, founded in 1983, of the Los Altos–based restaurant group, which specializes in Texan-style wood-fired meats served in friendly and unpretentious style. If the vermilion exterior doesn't grab you, the mesquite smell from its outdoor grill surely will. Catering and events are offered and welcomed, either in the restaurant, delivered from the restaurant or cooked onsite in the Road Hog mobile barbecue.
