Ambala Dhaba Homestyle Indian Food serves northern Indian food in an atmosphere that recreates an authentic eatery from the region. Tucked away on Wilshire Boulevard, just north of Santa Monica Boulevard, the interior of the restaurant makes customers feel like they have indeed gone to a local restaurant in India. The large menu offers various chicken, lamb, bakra (goat) and seafood dishes.

Plenty of vegetarian options are also available, including more than 50 vegan selections. Tandoori dishes are served with homemade chutney marinated in yogurt and spices, cooked on skewers in a clay oven. Fresh-baked breads include various pratha, kulcha and naan. Lunch specials, served between 11am and 3pm, are served with an appetizer and dessert. Family meals are also available, serving two people.
