Mr. Goodstein's advocacy has twice been vindicated in published opinions from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals: Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Co v. Ensley, 174 F.3d 977 ( 9th Cir. 1999 ); and Stuart v. Unum Life Insurance Company of America, 217 F.3d 1145 ( 9th Cir. 2000 ). Bruce A. Berman: Partner. Mr. Berman represents public and private companies, partnerships, individuals and municipalities in a wide variety of business disputes including both individual claims and class actions. He regularly appears in State and Federal Courts throughout California, and has also represented clients at hundreds of alternative dispute resolution proceedings, such as mediations and arbitrations. Mr. Berman is admitted to practice law in all California state and federal districts courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Berman is AV rated through Martindale-Hubbell, * the highest rating available for both legal ability and professional ethics. He has also been voted a Southern California Super Lawyer * for three consecutive years.
