La Perla offers up authentic Mexican pastries and baked goods, hot food, coffee, soft drinks and ice cream. Sample sweet creations like the powdered empenada with custard or the cherry cheese tart, made fresh daily. Feel free to serve yourself, grabbing pan dulces with the tongs as Spanish-language TV plays in the background. 

La Perla Bakery is located near the 110 freeway in Highland Park, on Figueroa St. If you're heading north on the 110, exit Via Marisol and make a left, then a right on Ave 57 and another right at Figueroa. You should eventually see the bakery on your left.
