Lot 1 Cafe is a quaint restaurant in historic Echo Park. While only open for a few hours during the weekend, this breakfast and burger joint has a small cult following in the neighborhood.

In terms of late-night snacks, its "Drunk Menu" on Friday and Saturday nights caters to hip youngsters filing out of the Gold Room, Little Joy and the Short Stop. You'll find satisfying dishes like french toast and the chorizo jalapeno queso fresco burger.

For brunch, savor the Greek Scramble, which includes home fries and pita bread or  the all-you-can-eat pancakes for only $6 (plus $2 for real maple syrup).
