Maria's Restaurant is located near the 110 freeway in Cypress Park, on Figueroa St. If you're heading north on the 110, exit Figueroa and make a right. You should eventually see the restaurant on your left. Maria's specializes in Salvadoran pupusas, a fluffy ball of corn dough on the griddle with melted cheese inside. Maria's also sells pupusas filled with chorizo, beans and even a special Salvadoran herb called loroco. You'll also find an extensive breakfast menu and a handful of authentic soups with beef, chicken, shrimp and fish.
