Just like the name suggests, this tiny, hut-shaped Silver Lake restaurant sells both donuts and Chinese food. It's an odd pairing to be sure, but fans say the donuts are fresh and tasty and the Chinese food, while not available in the early morning, holds it's own, too. To make things even more confusing, one of the popular dishes from the "Chinese" section of the menu is actually a Vietnamese noodle soup called "pho." Conveniently located near the Silver Lake on-ramp to the 101 Freeway.
