The Stand offers classic American style diner foods in a comfortable and laid-back atmosphere. The black and white checkered table tops are only adorned with generic ketchup and mustard bottles. Hot dogs and sausages are the specialty here, with the option for customers to create their own or select a "Stand Classic" from the menu. Choices include beef, turkey, kosher and spicy dogs, and spicy Polish, Texas turkey, chicken apple and bratwurst sausages. These can be topped with onions, various mustards, relishes, pickles, salsa, ranch dressing, thousand island dressing, chipotle BBQ sauce, mayonnaise and spicy Cajun sauce, all included. Other toppings to add include chili, sauerkraut, coleslaw, cheeses, avocado, peppers, garlic mushrooms and bacon. The Stand makes its own veggie patties and is known for the sweet potato fries. Beers are available on tap and in bottles. Special events are held here, from Monday Night Dollar Dogs to Saturday night movies. Several televisions show sports and news in the restaurant.
