Solstice Canyon Park features trails and natural surroundings, as well as a historical experience. The oldest home in Malibu, a 19th-century stone cottage built by Malibu pioneer Matthew Keller, can be viewed during a trail hike. The land was acquired for a park in 1988 by the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, and has since been turned over to the National Park Service.
