Ginseng BBQ & Tofu opened in May 2008 as Mountain View's premier Korean BBQ restaurant.Formerly a Domino's Pizza, the owner retrofitted the restaurant with a state-of-the-art grilling and ventilation system that features individual grills installed in each individual table, with gas lines built into the tables to provide hot, ready-to-grill flames. The ventilation system above each table provides significant suction for smoke as well as multi-layered safety measures that meet and exceed fire safety standards. All in all, our grills are hot, efficient, and most of all, safe.Our biggest change came about in April 2009, when Ginseng introduced it's All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ Buffet. It provided a value and service oriented option for those looking to treat themselves to Korean BBQ at price that made sense in the thick of the economic downturn. Since then, it has been the flagship menu option for our dinner patrons, and on any weekend you will see a packed house of happy diners grilling away to their hearts content
