A self-proclaimed "Indian Fast Food Experience," Spice Hut serves Indian cuisine in a fast food setting along with several Chinese items - such as egg rolls, fried rice and chow mein. Upon entering the Newark location, one will see pre-made food at the deli counter and slices of cakes and desserts in the glass bakery case. Customers can choose from the prepared items or order from the brightly lit wall menus. If you choose not to order a la carte, combo meals are a particularly inexpensive choice. The interior features floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of light, adding to the fast food restaurant vibe. If you find yourself short on time, ordering via phone or the internet are options.
