This new North Hollywood restaurant bills itself as the only restaurant In Los Angeles that serves Puerto Rican cuisine. Mofongos serves affordable, authentic food with fast service in a cozy environment. It is a small café with a few outdoor tables on the sidewalk, but for the most part its core business is take-out and catering. Mofongos is located in the heart of the NoHo arts district, so there's a lot of foot traffic visiting the nearby shops and galleries. Its owner and chef, Augusto, operated a catering business out of his home, but now he's moved into this bright and clean spot on Lankershim.
