MP's Soul Food Eatery has had several incarnations. Old-timers will remember it as Miss Peaches or Angelina's Soul Food Restaurant. MP's is a cozy little cafe that is reminiscent of a down-home Southern kitchen somewhere in Atlanta, Alabama or Mississippi. The menu is filled with authentic Southern fare such as pork chops, fried chicken and catfish. It also comes with all of those wonderful side dishes, such a sauteed collard greens, macaroni and cheese and black-eyed peas.

There's a selection of desserts as good as any of your famous family recipes. Make sure to save room for the homemade peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. MP's also does catering for small or big events. It's a great place to grab something to take home after work and treat your family to a fun night. It does not have a liquor license, but guests are welcome to BYOB without having to pay a corkage fee.
