Toast opened at Hamilton Marketplace in 2009 as a sister location to the Toast in Mill Valley. It attracted lots of attention for its modern interior feel when in March 2011 it received a national nomination for a James Beard Award for restaurant design. In addition to serving breakfast, Toast offers a huge menu and an impressive array of entrees that aren't likely to be found at competitors, including pepper crusted ahi nicoise. With a riveting bar selection, it is ideal for any meal of the day. Purse and laptop carriers will be happy to know that each table has a built-in hook to keep bags from resting on the floor as well.
