L&L Hawaiian Barbeque is nestled into the El Camino North Shopping Center. The franchise was started back in 1976 in Honolulu. Since then it has expanded to over 30 states on the mainland and came to Oceanside in 1992. The restaurant's mission is simple: to serve the best Hawaiian barbecue around. To achieve this L&L sticks to the classic Hawaiian lunch plate that consists of rice, macaroni salad and any hot entrée. Some of the entrée favorites include Chicken Katsu, Kalua Pork and Garlic Shrimp. But those are just the favorites, there are more than 10 different types of meat and seafood entrees to choose from.
