Pollos Maria is located in the Old Grove Shopping Center in a residential district in Oceanside. The famous Mexican grilled chicken is now being served in two locations, here and in Carlsbad. The enterprise started back in 1985, right out of the co-owner's home in North County. The restaurant has since grown to become a local favorite. The restaurant has a comfortable feel to it, with Mexican murals on the wall and a flat-screen TV to keep customers entertained. Pollos Maria serves wine and beer, as well as Menudo on Sundays.
