Rosina’s Italian Food is a hidden gem tucked into the business district of Oceanside’s Rancho del Oro district. It is a family owned and operated restaurant, one of a dozen or so on the West Coast. Rosina and her sons come from a region in southern Italy called Calabria, known for its use of fresh and seasonal vegetables, light sauces, poultry, fish and beef. Rosina’ s also emphasizes warmth and hospitality, with a friendly staff that make you feel right at home. This is a great place to come for a romantic date or nice lunch with a few friends or family. Rosina’s is both charming and elegant, with a wonderful outside patio complete with outside heaters and a spurting fountain. It also offers monthly cooking classes and hosts special wine dinners with a fixed menu.
