Village Pizza Restaurant was established in 1984 and has become an East Bay favorite for family-style dining. We proudly serve some of the best food around which originates from traditional old-Italy recipes of the founders’ mother-in-law, Rose DiPietro. Mrs. DePietro arrived in the U.S. when she was 16 years old bringing her family’s well-loved and tested culinary customs. Today, owner Louis M. Jones, a 24-year Orinda resident continues this rich tradition to serve only the finest Italian and other contemporary dishes, expertly prepared, to his customers. Louis Jones is an active member of the community where his own children grew up and have special Village Pizza memories of their own
