Desert Torah Academy provides Jewish early education. This school practices a Montessori philosophy in new Jewish academics. The goal of the Desert Torah Academy is to provide children with the proper education to become active, independent learners.

The academy is a branch of Chabab of Palm Springs, which is an affliate of the International Chabad Lubavitch Movement. Nearly a million Jewish children have attended the schools operated by the Desert Torah Academy, as well as institutions, summer camps and extracurricular programs each year.
