The Mod Resort, construced in the late 1950s, remains one of Palm Desert's most exclusive retreats. The resort can be recognized by its trademark exterior white wall. The 14 rooms on site at once exude nostalgia and modernity. Each suite has been beautifully renovated and they are somewhat reminiscent of Stanley Kubrick's extremely mod Clockwork Orange set. All suites have a kitchen, a dining room and two patios. Stays come complete with luxurious linens, brand new, ultra-modern electronics, as well as a pool, spa and a homemade breakfast.
