A former chef at the legendary Babette's restaurant in Sonoma County, Stepahnie Rastetter started her French Water Street Bistro with the classic, casual and fantastic in mind. The homey restaurant offers a five-course dinner by reservation only, though the daily fare is also enough to keep everyone happy. Breakfast includes homemade pastries, waffles and quiches and there's always a soup du jour for lunch, along with a delicious variety of salads and sandwiches. The staff is cheery and helpful, the coffees are superior, and the French lemonade is authentic.
