Our ranch is settled on over 600 acres, with access to hundreds of acres of Plumas National Forest. We are a reasonable drive from much of California, Nevada, and Oregon, and just 90 minutes from Reno International Airport. We have 8 one-bedroom adjoining cabins that sleep up to 4 people, 8 two- bedroom cabins that sleep 6 to 7 people and 10 rooms in our two story lodge. We emphasize lots of riding, with progressive instruction to develop your riding skills and confidence and we accommodate all levels of experience, ages six to adult. We also have one of the few programs encouraging trotting and loping! Greenhorn is an intimate ranch experience. At Greenhorn you are staying in our home, which means you are treated as family! You eat, ride, and relax with the owners, the wranglers, and staff. We pay special attention to kids and teens; including them in activities and doing everything possible to make sure they are having fun.
