Other Details:
The Bella Vista was built in 1927. My family, the Wards, purchased it in 1979 from Bob and Jetty Hogan. We made it more upscale by going with white linens on the tables along with our signature Bella Vista, Fine China Show-plates. It has a feel of upscale elegance in a relaxed country atmosphere. It’s like being in Tahoe and it’s 15 minutes off Hwy 92 and Hwy 280. Our concept is easy to describe. Very large portions of prime ingredients, deep, rich sauces served hot and on time for a fair cost. That has not changed in our 30+ years of serving you and we will not budge off that premise as long as my family owns the BV. How many times have you gone out to dine and looked back on the experience and said, “what just happened? I’m still hungry and I just put out hard earned money to be asking these questions now?” Believe me- we understand. Bella Vista is not inexpensive, but it is a big-time value. We are criticized for over-serving, not under-serving like so many other fine restaurants.
